It takes a Village to crucify a Christ!
It takes a Village to fill a Ship of Fools!
It takes a village to convince the people
that the earth is flat!
It takes a village to get people to believe
that a life-giving plant food is a pollutant.
It takes a Village to trash the Constitution
in the name of the Environment!
It takes a Village to burn the witches of Salem!
It takes a Village for there to be an Ox Bow Incident!
It takes a Village to demonize those
who do not wish to belong to the village!
It takes a Village to dumb down little children with drugs!
But all it took
was the one cow of Mrs. Leary
to burn down the entire village.
We pray to God, therefore,
to send us a Mrs. Leary with her cow
so that we may live free of the village.
